Deseret News Marathon

After an almost eight year hiatus I finally ran another marathon! It was my slowest time ever but I got through it thanks to glucosamine, ibuprofen, gu, salt tablets, and one fantastic cortisone shot. Needless to say, I was pretty nauseated after the race, but it was still fun!

My Mom ran the race too, which made it even more fun.

Beard Growing Contest

Clark, my dad, and my very hairless brothers decided to have a week long beard growing contest. Clark lost.

Summer Play

Playing at Grandpa's house:
Playing at the aquarium (this was Mary and Tess' first trip--they LOVED the fish!):

Playing peek-a-boo at Park Discovery (in Cedar City):

Playing with the big chairs:

T-Ball

Stockton participated in his first rec sport this summer. We've avoided these kinds of things in the past because we didn't think Stockton would know what to do and his behavior was kind of unpredictable. Now, Stockton is in a much better place and we've realized that no kid in t-ball knows what he/she is doing. Overall I'd say we had a successful season.
Throwing his imaginary baseball:

Tess enjoyed watching her brother play (and eating the fence--yuck!):

Ragnar 2011

Clark and I (and the rest of my family) ran the Wasatch Back last month. Now that I'm sufficiently recovered I can, without hesitation, say that it is the funnest race I've ever participated in! We are all signed up to do it again next year.
