Merry Christmas!

Our Christmas Angels. Mary and Tess had a big role to play for our family's Nativity.

I really wish we had a different angle of this picture so you could see Stockton's face. He stood in this position, awestruck, for a good solid minute before he realized he could play with his new motorized marble maze Santa brought him.

Some Firsts

First trip to the doctor's office (at two months):

First time wearing bows. Even though I'm having too much fun dressing them, I don't think the girls care for their accessories:
First official outing. We took them to a family Christmas party. They were the hit (I think the girls are still questioning the bows, though):
First time Mary falls asleep on Grandma's shoulder:

We Love Our Dog

Sometimes we have to check to make sure she's still alive, though.

The Yellow School Bus is so Much Fun When You Don't Have to Ride It

I think Stockton enjoys riding the bus to school, but when he says prayers like this, I can't be sure:

Stockton: Heavenly Father, thank you for day, thank you for school, thank you for the yellow . . . (spoken to mommy) no yellow school bus tomorrow?
Mommy: That's right, no yellow school bus tomorrow.
Stockton: (continuing the prayer) thank you for the yellow school bus, and for the different bus to the fair, and for the different bus to the farm . . ..
