Moab 2013

Our annual Moab trip was another hit.  I was a little worried how it would go this year because my girls are at the awkward age where they're too big to carry and too little to do some of the hikes.  They surprised me, though, and did really well!  Mary walked 90% of the time and Tess walked about 80%.  Not bad.

Grandma and Grandpa and Great Grandma Howe were able to come this year which added to the fun.

The longest hike we did this year was Delicate Arch. I was worried how the girls would do on this one but luckily the kids made a game of finding the cairns.  They had so much fun running to the next one and claiming the tower.  Then they wanted their picture taken by "their" tower.

Tess had a hard time falling asleep one night in our hotel.  Stockton was so sweet and held her hand so she would fall asleep.  After a few minutes he said his hand was tired so he let go.  Tess started crying so Stockton held it again for a few more minutes until Tess fell asleep.  He is such a good big brother!
